Great news! Thanks, Derrow.
In beta 5 you announced "- fixed: NTSC authoring problems."
Does this apply for this version as well?

Derrow,
thanks for the new IfoEdit version. I tried to download it, but unfortunately the site doesn't work, it shows a page of the hosting company (ifoedit.wh.fr0zen.com). I tried several times, both in Firefox and IE, traced back the DNS record, so I would say, that the problem is not on my side. I tried also the mpucoder and the pandora sites, but they are of no use either.
Could you please fix this ?
Thanks a lot,
peter

Works fine for me with Opera and FF. MpuCoder's site is OK too. Sg wrong with your connection I guess.

anyway, it's working now. well, I guess, you won't believe me that there was a connection problem, but how could you explain, that I could see the real URL of the site (ifoedit.wh.fr0zen.com) on the page of a hosting company ? I have a theory, maybe the site has a limit (number of connections per day, or something like that), because before midnight I was unable to connect, but now I am. but who knows ? and who cares now ? I got the thing now, I'm fine... :)
enough said, I would like to ask anyone of the moderators to delete these few replies on this issue (you guys will certainly agree), there's no need to have this junk in this thread anymore.
bye,
peter

First of all, thanks Derrow for this bugfix release. I almost thought IfoEdit was dead!
However, here are some bugs that don't seem to be addressed yet:
- VOB Extras Strip Streams / VOB IDs will completely replace the Program / Cell play map (at least the copy will look totally different than the original), even if nothing is being stripped ("mock-strip"). This loses e.g. which cell commands are to be executed or still picture settings, but also the seamless playback/discontinuity bits etc. Shouldn't this only overwrite the cell playback times and leave everything else intact?
- in VOB Extras, the "Remove Angle" option is always greyed out under WinXP, in W2k it works. The last version where it worked under XP as well was 0.932, iirc.
- when removing an angle, chapter points that start at a removed VOB ID are gone as well, even if the chapter still has VOB IDs left that belong to an angle that is being kept (creates a huge mess because "scene selection" menus will link to the wrong chapters then, or to nonexistent chapters). This was in 0.96, but it's not mentioned in the change log, so I suppose it's still the case. Also, this probably applies to all VOB ID stripping, even if it has nothing to do with angles. I just noticed it when I de-angled a DVD.
- (not a bug, but still annoying) it's not possible to add Programs in PGCs when there's no program present already, as the context menu will only appear if you right-click on an existing program.
That's all that comes to my mind this late at night (4am), so that'll be it for now.
Just out of curiosity, what does the "(Public Version)" in the title bar mean? Is there a non-public (deluxe?) version as well? Also, what happened to the GPL violations in IfoEdit mentioned here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=68864) and previously on the IfoEdit homepage as well?

I tried on 2 different XP systems and 2 different W2k systems, same result: in XP always greyed out, in W2k only greyed out when it's not multiangle. As I said, 0.932 is the last version (that I have) where it still works on both my XP systems. Since you say it works for you, there might be other factors involved than just XP/W2k, but for me that's how it is. :(

That's pretty weird. I'll try to fix it.

For some reason I cannot download it :( Could you help me out please? There's no direct link to the 0.97 version on the main page so I tried to access the forum button but I get a page that says:
"This area is for contributors only ..."
What could be the problem?

There's a donators version also which is currently available as 0.96 beta 5
The public version can multiplex only 1 title.
The GPL violation has been settled.

Derrow,
I was testing Ifoedit 0.97 to re-author a NTSC DVD and found a problem:
- the authoring is aborted with too many "Stream E0: data will arrive too late."
since there was .VOB files generated before the error I tried to play them and noticed that there was a HUGE delay between sound and video.
It's like the video was generated at PAL rate (25fps) and the audio at NTSC rate (30fps). So you watch the movie and starts noticing that the sound is always getting late... the more you watch, more the delay increases.

@Derrow
I have been using the Copy2Clipboard button for ages. I have also asked countless to use it too when inquiring on their Overviews. Can you please put in some filters like you did for VobEdit to cut on posting info? It can be an overkill on information on one line at times. This would work perfectly as a Setting option. Things to consider are...
Attributes
PGCs
Cell Time / fps
Pos
Frames
SP/ILVU/DISC/SA
Menu Language Units
If you don't think this is a good idea, how about implementing a "save as text file" option too.

This is in regards to Adding a New PGC. (About time ;))
When I create a New Program Map first, my Program Map Start Byte is updated. When I add a new Command, my PGC Command Table Start byte gets updated too but my New Program Map Start Byte has been removed and also my added entry cell number.

Also, I know you got rid of your codec reporting message box but there are some people like me that really like it. I was hoping you would've left that as a Setting option so we can turn it on or off.

(Bug)When I Add a new PGC in my VTSM_PGCI_UT, it doesn't update the
treeview as it does with VTS_PGCITI.
There's something wrong about adding a new PGC in VTSM_PGCI_UT. I was assuming that I was going to get a new "PGC" in my LU but instead I get a new LU. Right clicking and seeing Add PGC should be then be renamed to "Add LU". It doesn't add a new PGC like it does with PgcEdit.

It already workes on the Overviews too.
You just have to select the root-item in the Tree-View to get it working.

right, it's not working for the VTSM_PGCI_UT yet.
Only for VTS_PGCITI.
I just implemented the PGC adding, but I didn't complete it yet for the menu part.
