Using GK I have produced several MPEG4 AVI files that have a VBR MP3 stream. And they all work fine. But I can't seem to figure out how to do this on my own with a MPEG4 file and a separate VBR MP3 file.
Most of my efforst end up with a file that has all of the video but only 1/3 to 1/2 of the audio.
Can anyone help point me in the right direction? Does GK use a script? If so, can someone give me an example of one of the scripts?
Thanks in advance,
David

Use AVIMux GUI for the job.

Hmmm... so I guess no one knows huh?
I'll try to remember to post back here when/if I figure it out. I know there are other programs to do it with, but I want to know how GK does it with VDubMod.
Thanks anyway,
David

I don't think there's anything special about it. Load the video clip in VDubMod, add the audio stream, choose Direct stream copy for both video and audio. Save as a new clip.

But when I try that method the sound stops about 27% through the videos. Yet I can play that same sound file all the way through in WMP with no problems. And if I rewrite the header when I use VDubMod the audio last the length of the movie. Unfortunately the video/audio sync goes out the window when you rewrite the header.

I've never had such a problem. I'll have to try using VDubMod with my next encode tomorrow and see what happens.
