DVD to DVD burning and capacity in minutes of DVDs

I wanna ask if I can burn DVDs by copying DVDs that have more or less 9 episodes (more or less 30 minutes each) in a DVD. These are Saint Seiya Episode DVDs and I'm not sure if I need the dual layer DVD or the 4.5GB DVD.

DVDs don't have a capacity in minutes, they have a capacity in GB. A single layer DVD holds 4.37 GB, and a dual layer one 7.95.

If you wanna copy a DVD, look how much is on it. If it's up to 4.37 GB, you can just copy it to a single layer blank, if it's more, you gotta shrink it down or use dual layer.
