How can I 'reformat' from a DivX-file to a DVD? :confused:

Yes, it is there, as AVI -> DVD±R. DivX encodes that happen to have a .divx file type are nothing more than renamed .avi files.

Edit: When you're brand new to video encoding, the most difficult things to do to determine proper procedure are to first, figure out what you have, and second, figure out what you want to end up with. You have the latter done, and should be very happy that you're half way there. Its the former where there is still a little confusion.

It's a shareware but it only costs $29,95. Quality is really good and it's pretty easy to use.
However test it, there's a trial version on their website.
