XviD Encoder Configs: VHQ mode, what should I take...

for BEST visual results? I encode my videos with 1300kbps and leave them on my hdd, so i don't care about oversizes. Currently I have VHQ mode "wide search" selected. The default value was "mode decision". I heard that "wide search" should improve the visual quality, but I want to be sure, so I ask you pro's! :-)

As the FAQ (and the tooltip in the GUI as well if I'm not mistaken) tell - of course it's "better" visual quality (at fixed size. It could decrease size at fixed quality as well).
