Have you tried DVD Rebuilder? If you want to do a DVD backup with CCE it is the best program.
Look at its forum here in doom.org

another option would be to use DoItFast4U to demux your assets. you can then use CCE to re-encode either manually, or via a frontend utility such as BatchCCE.
for mor einformation on this method please read the guides (http://www.doom9.org/mpg/scenaid.htm) and visit the forum (http://forum.doom9.org/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=66)

Thanks for the replies
Pg55555 I’ve taken your advice and tried rebuilder and it did not yield the results that I wanted. guess I’ll have to tweak CCE settings.
Want to be able to rip out the fat and just run the episodes back to back.
I have also tried DoItFast4U .It did a nice job of demuxing the file’s I wanted.
but this where I become a little lost.
I have CCE 2.5 and I do things the old school way with AVISynth DVD2AVI Pulldown.exe Chapter Xtractor DVD Maestro .
If I take the m2v’s and re-encode them how would I get the DVD structure back together after ripping out the fat? IFOEdit? How?

I use to do it that way until RB came along. I would rip each Episode off the DVD to its own folder with DVD Decrypter in IFO mode. That also gives me Maestro Chapter file. I'd use DVD2SVCD w/ CCE 2.50 to reencode to 1/4 of a DVD if 4 eps per DVD. I'd use the Camera button in WinDVD to capture a Menu, then author the whole lot in Maestro. The Menu takes up almost no room, so seams crazy to me not to include one.
