Hi Guys...

I am saving out my NTSC vob(s) using "Field Operation --> Forced Film" in DGIndex (thus making my AVI 23.976 fps).

My chapters that are extraced using Chapter-X-tractor (OGG format and turned into XML using MMG) don't match the point in the video they should, and it gets progressivly worse throughout the film.

The extracted chapter points match the time that my stand alone player says.

Doing some math the chapter points seem to be out the excat ratio that is 24/23.976 (1.001001).

Am I doing something fundementaly when saving out the file?

Many thanks in advance for any help :)

Hi,

try this tool:
http://mitglied.lycos.de/ashyak/
XvidChapterZone1.02 (it also include the source code)
and maybe the
VBruntime_files.zip

it can read ogg Chapterfiles and a ultra simple Chapterfile like this:
0|intro
200|chapter1
14523|chpater 2

Usage:
select the movie fps rate --> press "convert OGG chapterfile to reg file".
If the time in the ogg Chapterfile don't match a window will popup:
"frame not corresponds with time!"
You can check the given number with Virtual Dub. If you agree press only OK, or enter another framenumber.
Warning: this tool corrects directly the OGG Chapterfile, make a backup if you are not sure.

With the provided *.reg file you can set keyframes with xvid zones, this is the primarily use.

Wicked, so the idea is that this transforms my Chapter file from 23.976 into 24 (which sounds perfect) I will download and have a go and let you know.

Many Thanks
