I'm trying to backup Blade NTSC R4. It has 4 VTS: VTS_01 containg the main movie, the VTS_02 is big (more than 2 gigs) with extras and VTS 3 and 4 small ones with more extras

When ripping to my HD with Decrypter 3.5.1.0 in file mode it processes the VTS_01 files without a glitch.

But when it starts processing the VTS_02_01.VOB a warning window appears, saying the Brute Force DSS decryption method failed, and asking if I want to try finding a key from other file. I answer Yes and it start a DSS decryption window. I waited for over 20 minutes and nothing happened, so I stoped the program. I tried another 3 times with the same result.

I tried SmartRipper 2.41, and it ripped all the files to the HD. But when I run the VTS_02 and VTS_03 and VTS_04 I only got garbarish (a green screnn with some macroblocks showing a shadow of the movie) in the monitor. VTS_01 (the main movie ) run just fine.

DVDShrink gives similar results.

I can watch the VTS_2 files from the original DVD without problems

I could do a Movie only backup with Shrink, but I like to keep the extras.

Any ideas?

Pablo

EDIT: I finally was able to rip the extras with Decripter: after the "Brute Force failed" I let it to search for a key from other file in the same titleset, and just let it do its magic. It took time, and the process has to be done for each file, but eventually I got a working rip.
