I want to copy a DVD I watch often, so the copy is just like the original (as best as can be done.) But the DVD has CSS protection on it. I read the guide that was required for it, here (http://www.doom9.org/mpg/dvd5-backup.htm), (fortunately it's a DVD of an old movie, so the disc is only single-layer, ~4 GB), but except for mentioning that CSS was a problem, the guide and the supplied links don't say anything about CSS or how to get around it. Except for apparantly not figuring out how to get around CSS, DVD Decrypter will do everything, copy the ISO to hard disk, and burn another disc. But can DVD Decrypter get around CSS while making an ISO? I know it can when ripping a disc in File and IFO modes. Is the solution simply to rip the whole disc in File mode and burn the directory instead of burning an image? Or will that probably not work?
