Is there any significant difference in AVI/XviD output quality between a "Target Quality" encode at 75% and a 2 pass "Predefined" encode at "2GB (Max for DVDRs)"?

Does AutoGK, or any of the programs it uses to generate an AVI, get any benefit from a SMPsystem (Dual Xeons) or Hyperthreading?

Thanks.

1) yes as 2Gb would give you from 50% to 100% of target quality depending on a source.

2) not directly, but users report that it can run faster on those systems (and of cource if you're doing something else during encoding then benefits are obvious).
