Hi, AutoGK isn't working for me. I get the message Cannot open file "J:\JERRY_MAGUIRE\New\agk_tmp\interlace.log". The system cannot find the file specified. I've tried uninstalling AutoGK and reinstalling 1.6, but I get the same results. The weird thing is I have AutoGK working fine on my second slower P4 1.8Ghz machine. I'm not sure if there's anything that could be conflicting with it on my P4 3Ghz system (both WinXP Pro). Any tips appreciated. Log below..
Thanks,
Philip

Avisynth troubles... try removing all dlls from its plugin directory (as discovered here: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=85088)

Removing the file DirectShowSource.dll from my
C:\Graphics\Mpeg4\AutoGK\AviSynth 2.5\plugins
avoided the interlace.log crash, but then I get Oops -VirtualDub has crashed.
An out-of-bounds memory access (access violation) occurred in module 'AcLayers'.

Removing TCPDeliver.dll or colors_rgb.avsi from the AviSynth 2.5\plugins directory has no further affect.

I then looked to see if there were any plugins in Virtual Dubs directory I could try removing, but there were none.

thanks for the reply,
Philip

I got the same error on a TS stream file from a Dreambox. I've only tried two short TS files I got from a friend. One of them worked just fine, but the other one gave me this same error with not finding interlace.log file. Running it through PVAStrumento making it a PS .mpg fixed the problem. Same did it to demux with ProjectX and then remuxing (or multiplex or whatever it's called) back with TMPGEnc MPEG Tools. So I don't know, hehe ... Bugly Ugh? TMPGEnc recognize it as interlaced. AutoGK says it's progresive I think I remember.

Transport streams are common to have broken frames, that's why processing them with TS tools usually helps. DGDecode probably doesn't have that much protection against invalid data...

@philipms

complete uninstall (including registry entries) of Avisynth and resinstall might help

Hi, from the Control Panel Add/Remove Programs I've tried uninstalling GK, AutoGK, and AVIsynth, and then reinstalling the AutoGK pack with AVIsynth, but no luck.. same errors as above. Are there registry entries I'm also supposed to delete before reinstall?

thanks for replies,
Philip
