Error code 1157 with DVD Decrypter

I just installed a Lite-On Dual Layer DVDRW, model SOHW-832S in my computer. I downloaded the new version of DVD Decrypter and installed it but it won't open. I keep getting Error code 1157 messages. Any suggestions ?

That error means nothing to me. Doesn't even sound like one of mine.

In what way will it not open? Do you get the main window? Just the splash screen? Anything at all?

What EXACTLY does the error box say? What's its title?

If you could provide a link to a screenshot that would help.

Hi Lightening,
DVD Decrypter will not open, no main window or splash screen, just an error message that says:
Error reading isowrite_write mode - > items.strings:
system error. code: 1157
1 of the library files needed to run this application
cannot be found
Any help that you can give is greatly appreciated.

Sorry to be a pain but could you please email me a screenshot to the address in the programs 'About' box.

I assume you've checked your pc for viruses and have tried redownloading it?

It's not anything I've EVER seen before you see.

EDIT: damn, of course you cant see the about box can you... lol!

Ok, you'll have to find some webspace and upload it.
