im currently using the latest nero software, and just recently each time i burn anything it says "unknown burn phase" its like this for dvd's and cdr's. also it's stopped working with dvd shrink. to be honest it still burns correctly i don't understand why the plugins don't work on dvd shrink.

my operating system is xp home
80gb hard drive
1gb ram
2.66ghz processor
lite-on dvd rom sohd-167t
lite-on dvd writer ldw-851s

Here is the error messege after dvd shrink has finished encoding and nero should start.

This sounds like another one of those pesky "media" problems, so I'll shoot this over to the burning forum. Have you previously had success with this batch of media and your current setup? If your problems started along with the use of a new brand of media, that would be a place to start.

After moving this request to the Burning Forum, I now see that you'd cross-posted here with the same request. You say that you've sorted the problem in your first request, it would have been nice if you'd done the same with the one I just spent ten minutes working with....or, simply not cross-posted in the first place.
