Maybe is a stupidity but I Deinterlace - smooth at 25fps.
When I tryed for the first time Deinterlace - smooth the MPEG2 encoder
refused because the double frame rate.
The capture was done at 720x576 RAW avi.
Working around the aspect ratio - my target is VHS to TV via standalone DVD player - I tryed to match the encoded AR with the TV displayed AR.
I decided that the simpliest way is to capture at 704x576 and just do
some croping.
As a test I output to a DivX;) avi, I played the avi to
see how my very modest PC will perform, and everything was just OK.
I opened the avi with GSpot the frame rate was 25 as the original,
I opened with VirtualDub MPEG2 and again 25 fps.
Framesarved to MPEG2 encoder OK.
The speed of deinterlacing is great:))) 0.5 fps but it works!!!
??? Am I stupid or what ???
