Before you ask why not use XviD or DivX, I need to create some small videos for a business card CD that can play in almost all Windoes PCs. I have found the M$ V2 codec option in Nandub meets my requirements. I do not want users to have to install codecs etc, just put it in and play.
Now the problem, with 2 pass encoding, the stats file is not created. I have tried three differnt PCs, all with the same result. Downloaded the RC2 from here, in case mine was corrupt, but still no stats file. I appears to be creating some temp files in it's root directory, but never writes a stats file. I need it so I can make multiple passes at differnet bit rates to get to differnt target file sizes.
