hi folks
earlier this week i set up two western digital raptors (74G) in a raid0 array with no hastle using Intel 82801ER SATA RAID Controller
i'm running xp pro with sp2 - and created two equal partitions in the raid0 array
for dvd backup i use DVD Decrypter and Nero Recode
now today i tried to make a backup and Decrypter was fine (great programme that it is)- but as soon as I opened Nero Recode it simply crashed the whole system and rebooted
a number of reinstalls of Nero and attempts on both partitions resulted in the same crashes
i then tried used windows xp native disc copy to burn a large file to cd and that worked just fine so its not my dvd writer which is LG GSA-4120B
i have searched for raid0 in the forum but found nothing related to this specific problem
has anyone been able to succesfully use nero 6 in a raid0 array or is it just my controller?
