I ocassional get the error:
EXCEPTION: Audio is not found.

on some of the DVDs that I have ripped using DVD Decrypter. The vob files play with sound in powerDVD so the audio is present.

I am currently having this problem with the Audioslave DVD, the audio track is at 0xa0 and is a PCM 2-channel track.

I have tried demuxing the audio from the vob, and the resulting file will not play in Windows Media Player, but will play in PowerDVD, perhaps it's a codec problem, anyway any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.

Darren.

Hi-

One way out is to set AutoGK for No Audio, and then allow space for the audio and overhead (if going for a specific file size). Then, don't get the audio from DVD Decrypter (and you'll have to decrypt again, most likely, since, if you removed the audio at the decrypting stage, it's no longer there). So, just get the full vobs from DVD Decrypter. Open DGIndex, and go Audio-Output Method->Decode to WAV. Then File->Save Project. That will give you a good Wave file which you then make into MP3 using BeSweet or HeadAC3he (if you wish), and then mux into the AVI yourself afterwards. Yeah I know, kind of a hassle, but thankfully there aren't many such DVDs.

0xa0 is a problematic audio stream. AutoGK expect audio to be in the range of 0x8x... Can you post stream info file please?

P.S. Solution for you would be to use File Mode instead of DVD Mode. AutoGK will pick up first audio then (assuming you don't need subs and second audio).
