I recenently decided to try burning some of my anime episodes to DVD (non liscened episodes, in japanese with subtitles). I came upon a problem after I burned a few episodes to DVD. The video was cut off around the edges, as if the video was too big for the TV, it cut off the bottom of the subtitles making them impossible to read. I was told elsewhere the way to fix this is by adding black video around the edge of my source video.
I was told I could use TMPEG to do it but the problem is I have no idea how I would go about doing this. I looked for some guides but was unable to find any on the subject. The video size is 640x480.
Does anyone know or could anyone point me in the direction of some guide that will explain how I add black video around my current source video so I can burn it to a DVD and watch it on my TV without any of the actual video being cut off?
