I've done a search through the forum, but was not able to find the solution for my problem.

After converting DVD to AVI (using XVID) and opening AVI in visrtualdub I've got "bframe lag" error. As I undrestand it's not an error just warning. But when I want to use Virtualdub to cut scenes from AVI fileit's really hard to navigate through key frames.
What should I do eliminate "bframe lag" warning in virtualdub?

encode with packed bitstream... or even better: do editing before you encode.

Could you pls explaint how to "encode with packed bitstream". I use autogk and don't touch any XVID options.

You can't eliminate this warning if you use AutoGK, but I never had any problems with editing such files in VDubMod.
