strange problem with GK +open avi

if i try to open an avi file, GK say "File is not a valid...."
this happens only when i have installed Xvid codec, without xvid it works fine(have used div. xvid codes, all the same).

This is a known problem, and there is a circumvention.

Thx it works changed the fourcc codec to divx and all is fine.
