I know I managed to do this successfully a long time ago, but now I'm having problems with what I thought was the simple task of deleting a few frames from an avi.
I am trying to combine a CD1 with CD2 file except CD2 has a few overlap frames at the beginning. I load CD2 into VirtualDubMod. The file is XviD, AC3 if that's important. I use the select start and end frames and try to cut about 60 frames from the beginning of the file. The frames do disappear from what I see. Setting the video to direct stream copy, I choose save avi. The saved file STILL has the deleted frames. What am I doing wrong? This seems so straightforward, lol.
I did manage to create a single file with the AC3 audio section cut, but not the video...it still repeats at the overlap point.
