VirtualDub(Mod) running on several computers the same task ??

Is it possible to encode a movie using virtualdub(mod) into more than one computer at the same time ? (Suposing those computers are in a LAN).
A friend of mine told me once that it can be done with 3DSMax, so is it possible anyway ?

You can use AviSynth (http://www.avisynth.org/TCPDeliver) to share the filtering on two or more computer but with VirtualDub it is impossible. IIRC there was a project but it was too buggy...
