dont know if anyone has covered this or sovled this, but its quite an issue. only when i keep a DTS track, i get these blips... usually 3-5 times per movie. standard dolby digital tracks always play flawlessly. normally, the occurences happen when heavy/loud noises hit a peak. im wondering if this is a result of high bitrate conflicts, but on a smaller DVD (8000 max bitrate), i still got the flaw. maybe my player sucks and im contributing coasters for no reason at all...

any help is greatly appreciated!!! thx.

Hi. :)

deltaboy, does the problem occur when you use another DVD-backup software?

nope, only when using rebuilder... what i do is pre-author what i want in shrink, then i run it thru rebuilder. anytime i do not need to use shrink, i comes out without a problem.

If you pre-author with DVD Shrink I suggest you read the following thread. ;)

I had audio dropouts in 4 to 5 places when I did van helsing. I did pre-process with infoedit removing all audio except the 5.1 track to prepair it for a movie only encode. Now before you say it I know you should'nt pre-process. I know the audio problems are being looked at and don't require an answer. I just want to report it because I know jdobbs likes to keep track of these things.
