Welcome to the forums, DB8539. :)
Have you tried re-installing your burning software?
Have you checked if it supports your new drive?

What is the burning software in question?
What version is it?
Have you checked it supports your new drive?
Have you tried burning with DVD Decrypter (free)?
You would have to select "ISO image and burn with DVD Decrypter" as DVD Shrink "Backup! >> Backup Target". ;)

I use DVD Decrypter then burn an Iso Image using Cheetah.

I'm affraid I don't know what you mean, DB8539.
In any case, you could choose for DVD Shrink to output as an ISO image, then burn it with DVD Decrypter.

DVD Shrink will automatically burn with DVD Decrypter, if you choose the option "ISO image and burn with DVD Decrypter" in the DVD Shrink "Backup! >> Backup Target" window.
If you'd rather burn manually, choose "ISO image" as the backup target, then use DVD Decrypter "Mode >> ISO >> Write".

1) When you click on the DVD Shrink "Backup!" button, a small window opens up.
2) On this window there are 5 tabs:
- Target Device.
- DVD Region.
- Quality Settings.
- Options.
- Burn Settings.
By default the first tab will be selected - "Target Device".
3) On that tab, under "Select Target Backup", you will see a selection box, with an arrow at its right.
Clicking on this arrow will reveal a few options:
- Hard Disk Folder.
- ISO Image File.
- ISO Image File and burn with DVD Decrypter.
Select the latter, "ISO Image File and burn with DVD Decrypter".
4) You then use the "Browse" button in this same window to select where you want the ISO image to be saved.
5) Click "Ok".
The "shrinking" process will then start.
The backup will be saved as an ISO image.
When the "shrinking" process has ended, DVD Shrink will launch DVD Decrypter to burn the resulting ISO image.

You're weclome. :)
This is why I asked what version of Nero you had, and if you were sure it was compatible with your new burner. ;)

It means the disc is either dirty or scratched.
Clean it, and if it's still necessary use a disc-repair-kit of some sort.

Did you get it with a memorex burner?
What make is your new one and is it not a Memorex?
Did Nero work on it's own?
Nero that comes with burners are hardware locked to that drive by the serial number. If you change the make, then it won't work anymore. It needs a new serial to work again.
