I have an divx avi movie with mp3 sound @ 96kbps.
Whan I watch the movie, the sync is ok, but when I make it into a svcd my sync is gone. I tried to save it in virtual dub with decompresed sound (wav) and indeed the sound is desynched when it is a wave.
(I guess this is what dvd2svcd does when it reencodes into mp2).
Now, I can guess and sync it manualy by adding a delay in vdub of about 500 ms, but I think this is unprofesional.
How can I find the exact value of the delay of the sound?
I have 151281 video frames and 151270 audio frames. Is it correct to calculate the delay by this formula: 151281-151270 = 11frames; (1000ms/25frames) * 11 ?
And how can i find the exact delay if the movie frames are 100000 and the sound are 150000? (vbr).
Thank you
