Hi

I'm trying to get some kind of Directshow support for my HW+ card. I've gone through the threads about the Hollywood Plus Directshow Filter and tried it out here but kept getting various region code mismatch errors (I then read it doesn't work on XP anyway :()

Some people have said it's possible to install the DS filter from the Netstream 2000 and even xCard driver packages. Could anyone explain how I could do this? It would be great to be able to get the hardware working with Zoomplayer or MPC.

Thanks!

I've done some more messing around and managed to get the driver installed ok (from what I can tell anyway).

However, when I try to play a DVD with ZP or MPC it still complains that the system and decoder region codes don't match. DVD Station plays it fine, and I have no problem playing DVDs from any region normally (in fact the DVD I'm trying now is R0).

How can I set the region for the DS filter? I've installed the DVD Station application from the Netstream 2000 package but that didn't get me any closer. Running the region code change util shows that the Region is set to 2, so why am I getting this error?
