View Full Version : Can't rip DVD with DVD Rebuilder (any version)

Warning: this material contains multiple angles and/or interleaving and is not supported in this version of DVD-RB. Aborting.

I get this when pointing to my VIDEO_TS folder, I was working with version 0.52b, but I get the same message in version 0.64a.

So does this mean I can't rip this DVD with DVD Rebuilder at all, or is it an error in my system?

Thx in advance,
Craz

Multi-angle support comes along with version 0.65-VIP. You cannot rip the DVD. Unless you want to donate some bucks to the author and gain access to the 0.65-VIP -version.

you can also perform and provide feedback from testing etc. aswell to get on the VIP list. i do not mean "this dvd doesnt work" type feedback but highly detailed information of course.

Please do a search before you ask questions. This question has been asked and answered numerous times.

0.65 supports multi-angle. Before 0.65, people use dvd decrypter or ifoedit to get rid off ultiple angles, then run rebuilder.

With versions below 0.64a you cannot encode multi-angle DVDs. You have to pre-process and strip away all the angles excpet the one you want (for example with DVD-Shrink) in order to encode with DVD-RB.

From 0.65 version you can do it but in order to get it you have to Donate or do some serious beta-testing or you can wait one month after the VIP release. :D

Hi
if you want absolutely backup your multiangle DVD with DVDRB (until v0.64a), you have to remove the angle you dan't want with Ifoedit or DVDRemake (so good!) and proceed as usual.
