put the case that i got 3 avi (divx/xvid) files like a series (1.avi, 2.avi, 3.avi) and i want to convert them into svcd format but i dont want to be in front of my computer so i'd like to automate it. so can i do batch encoding with DVD2SVCD (AVI2SVCD) program?

Why don't you use VirtualDub to join all files...

Yes you can.
Q73 (IIRC) of the Q+A sticky deals with batch encoding of AVI's.
