DVD-RB 0.65 VIP & The Matrix (USA) bug?

Hello JDobbs,

After a complete run with DVD-RB+CCE (4 passes) & a QUICK preview of the finished project it looks very good & the size is right. However, with the White Rabbit on, after the 1st WR, & Trinity is talking to Mopheus, rewind at whatever speed. I noticed that it gets stuck about the time after the 1st WR would stop.

I use PowerDVD 5... I'm burned a DVD+RW & watched with my Philips DVP-642, the same scene, & it handled it just fine. I'll test the rest out more when I have more time. Nice job!

After further testing these are my findings. Mind you I have not watched it straight yet. So far on every WR I've tested (up to the the initial fight sequence where Morpheus tests Neo) fast forward past where the WR would be, then I RW & it went back to the end of the WR & booted me back to the Screen where you select the WR. This is using PowerDVD 5.

This weekend I should be able to test & document my findings with my Stand alone DVD player. :) I should also be able to watch it all the way without FF or RW.

Ahh, I was wondering when v0.65 would be put to the ultimate test, multi-angle and button over button. Keep us posted on this one, I'm eager to see results and development.

It looks like 0.66a has fixed all the problems I've noticed. I'm able to FF past all White Rabbits, as well as RW past them. My testing was done again with my Stand Alone player, I haven't tried PowerDVD 5 yet.

So..so far, all looks great! I'll test more it more soon.

i've just tried the PAL version with 0.66a and i get the problems that are described when rewinding in PowerDVD 5 (haven't tested on standalone, need to find a RW). also get sent back to the menu when fast forwarding and it reaches the white rabbits, but it will work if u just play at 1x, and the white rabbit works fine too when used without FF or RW.

just thought i would let u know, nice improvements in these latest versions. keep up the good work ;)

I too have exactly the problems you describe with "The Matrix" region2

Yet to try it with V0.67 beta, may run it through at the weekend.
