After i hit prepare and it goes through and does its thing. . . the encode button lights up like it should. However when I hit encode it scrolls through saying its creating m2v for segment xx. It completes this in about 7 seconds. Obviously something is wrong and I was wondering if anyone knew what I might be doing wrong.

I forgot to mention that I am using CCE SP 2.62, and the dvd that I am trying to encode is a tv series disc with multiple PGC's if that makes any difference...

I think RB does not support your version of CCE SP (I can be wrong)
From the DVD Rebuilder Settings thread (Sticky at the top of this forum):
CCE Options
CCE Basic (2.67+), CCE SP (2.66+), CCE SP (2.5)
Used to Select the version of CCE you are using

Are you using any filters in the filter editor? Because incorrect usage of those can cause this to happen. Or maybe you need to do a quick reinstall of the lastest version of avisynth.

The new release of rebuilder doesn't specify a certain release of cce...it just says CCE SP or CCE 2.50

Please post your Rebuilder.ini file, to check your setup.
If not the CCE version:D these problems are ususally related to missing/erroneous version files needed by RB. So sorry if some of my recommendations seems obviousto you:
- Check you have Avisynth installed. version 2.54 or 2.55
- Check you have the right MPEG2DEC3DG.DLL file: version 1.0.1.0 dated April 28, 2004 (I'm not completelly sure about the date), installed in the Avisynth Plugins directory (not necessary but rbetter)
- Are you using EclECC or not? I do not know if your version of CCE needs it, but if you are not using it, try with it. And if you are using it, try without it
Try other DVD. If RB works with it we will know it is not a setup problem, but something related to your particular DVD

Make sure your cce path is pointing to the eclcce executable and not the cce executable itself.
