How do i do to use dvd rebuilder but i want to keep some of the vts as the original is. I have thought about setting the % to 100 in one of the addon programs, but wount it encode it anyway then? Waste of time then?
Is there anyway i can uncheck some vts, so that dvd rebuilder dont encode it but includes it in the final output anyway?

There is/was a program called RB-Keeper: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=76263

Unfortunately the author's website is down and his last post on the forum was several months ago.

Here's an alternative option, if you want to keep an entire VTS.

1. Copy the VTS to another directory. Be sure to include all the VOB,IFO and BUP files.

2. Use Titleset blanker to blank out the VTS.

3. Run DVD-RB's prepare step.

4. Use the latest version of RB-Opt to undersize the final output by however many MB the VTS you want to keep is.

5. Proceed as normal with DVD-RB. When everything is done, copy the original VTS files back into your DVD ReBuilder output folder, and overwrite the blanked versions.

6. Open any of the IFO files in IfoEdit and "Get VTS Sectors".

It wouldn't be easier to use RBOpt to select 100% compression for the VTS to keep, so the size of the other material it is adjusted automatically, and then copy the originals VTS over RB output, overwriting the processed, and then the IFOEdit trick?

Well, i searched the web hard, and finaly found the rb-keeper, if anyone else wants it you can find it here
http://www.nerdsapocalypse.com/tools.html

So i am gonna test this program out, otherwise i am gonna try it your way.

Why i want to do this, is bcz i want to compress everything except the main movie in dvd shrink, and only do the encoding of the main movie in dvd rebuilder.

I would suggest process first with RB and then with Shrink.

Except for the menus, I think RB with CCE is better to reduce the extras, thanks to options as "Half D1 on extras" and "Steal Space from extras"

As for the menus, load the original ripped material in Shrink and check using the "Custom" option in the full backup mode how much Shrink cand shrunk the menus: the difference between their size at 100% and the size (of the menus) at the compression you want for them (say the result is 160 MB). Divide this difference by two and multiply by 1000 to convert to sectors( it is 80000), add that figure to the default TargetSector setting of 2260000 (so now is 2340000). Include the TargetSector=2340000 line to the Options part of your Rebuilder.ini line.
Process with RB, and then process the output with Shrink, using "No Compression" for the main movie and the extras, with Automatic for the menus. If necesary, you can always compress a little more the extras.

That's a simpler method, and would work also, but DVD-RB would waste some time re-encoding the files you intend to overwrite. If they are small enough to not bother re-encoding it shouldn't take long though.

Well surley the rebuilder will make a better encoding than shrink, but, i always want to have everything on my backup, including menus extras and stuff. But i dont feel that i have to have the extras and stuff in the best quality, only the main movie. And comparing the time it takes to encode with rebuilder and dvd shrink, its a lot time saving to use shrink for menus and extras.
