First of all I am backing up my DVD's using this guide here (http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/mpg/cce-advanced.htm). Also, I am not sure if this is the right place to post this but here it goes. I am trying to back up Alias Season 3 using this guide, however once I used dvddecrypter to get the vob files onto the hdd i came across a problem. . . the vob structure which looks like this.

VIDEO_TS.BUP 16KB
VIDEO_TS.IFO 16KB
VIDEO_TS.VOB 1,732kb
VTS_01_0.BUP 44kb
VTS_01_0.IFO 44KB
VTS_01_0.VOB 171,130KB
VTS_01_1.VOB 1,048,983KB
VTS_01_2.VOB 813,576KB
VTS_02_0.BUP 10KB
VTS_02_0.IFO 10KB
VTS_02_0.VOB 82KB
VTS_02_1.VOB 1,048,983KB
VTS_02_2.VOB 1,048,983KB
VTS_02_3.VOB 1,048,983KB
VTS_02_4.VOB 1,048,983KB
VTS_02_5.VOB 887,983KB

ect......

Vobs 01_0-2 is part of the movie, but just separate from vobs 02_0-5. Dvd2avi requires that you select the main movie vob and it processes the rest of them. . . however it doesn't seem like it can be done in this case. Can someone give me some direction of how I can go about processes the main movie vobs into something that CCE can recognize?

Given this is an episodic DVD, strong odds are that it will have multi PGCs in there as well. That guide you are using isn't really sufficient.

If you are aiming to backup the DVD with menus etc, then you should look into the "big 3" guides. These involve processing each VTS (and PGC within that VTS) separately.
