I am using decrypter and shrink in both of these problems..

1.) Wanting to burn a 2 sided dvd to 1 dvd, I also want to retain the original menus.. how?

2.) Just bought the movie Punisher and shrink is erroring out after about 2% into process, but I can use shrink on other movies without issue.

Error: Dvd shrink encountered an error and cannot continue
Programming error-exception occured

Thanks in Advance

Well I will tackle this one to get the ball rolling and anyone can chime in and help me out here.

1. This is not possible with dvd shrink. As far as I know the only way to do this is to totally reauthor the darn thing in a decent authoring program. The reason for this being that you have two movies and two totally different menus and you want to smoosh them all onto one side. But to do this would require a total rearranging of everything. (although you may want to look into DVD Fab. this MIGHT do it but then again im not sure)

2. As for this... you may want to do a quick search of the forums here.. I seem to remember someone else encountering this same problem not too long ago. Just do a search for shrink AND programming AND error.

EDIT: Just to add something to number 1. You may be able to create a totally new simplistic menu that says something like. Click here for MOVIE 1 or here for MOVIE 2. And that will take you to the movies menu. In this case it would just be a matter of importing both menus and creating the new simple one and linking them. Although im sure its not as easy as it sounds.

Thanks for your help... I finally found issue with Punisher

I guess for the other one I will just burn movie and not the extras, took a look at them and not really worth keeping

Hey Benny, the idea of this forum is to share info with others who may look for help too. So why don't you just briefly state what your problem with punisher turned out to be? The next person who searches this place may get some clue from it.

Sure no problem..

The issue was that there is some "unreferenced material" on the dvd that cant be compressed but they are files of no size so it doesnt effect the dvd. Make sure that when you try to back it up you set this "unreferenced material" to no compression and it will work like a dream.
