DVD2SVCD Subtitle Problem.

I use this program all the time and have to say its fantastic. Small problem however when using avi2dvd with subtitles because the subtitles run off the bottom of the screen with the default subtitle settings. The avi in question is widescreen and the horizontal borders top and bottom are quite narrow and avi2dvd seems to only want to put the subs in the narrow borders meaning if there is more than one line of subs then they end up missing off the bottom of the screen. Presumably if the aspect ratio was different with deeper borders then subs would be ok. It doesn't matter to me that the subs have to be solely in the black border as long as i can see them all if anyone can suggest any settings. Hope this makes sense and any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you're using avi2dvd mode I assume that you're using external subtitles wright? (am I a wizzard or what?):D

On the "Subtitles" tab you got something like:

NTSC Std. Y-Pos [-1] Ext Y-Pos [400] - (-1 & 400 are example values)
PAL Std. Y-Pos [410] Ext. Y-Pos [480] - (-1 & 400 are example values)

All you got to do is is choose the value that places your subs on the correct position - you must enter the values on the "Ext. Y-Pos" (Ext=external)... u can see the result of your changes using the preview window.
