Hi- I'm a newbie. I have been using Shrink and DVD Decrypter to burn about 6 copies now, with good luck. But the first two files I copied with Shrink were (somehow?) saved as folders instead of ISO files, and when I open the folder, though it contains both video_TS and audio_TS, nothing happens. I tried accessing the folder and its (files?) with DVD Encrypter and Shrink both in case I copied it correctly, but nothing. I don't have access to these DVDs any more so would like to rescue them. Any help?

remove them and rip again using dvd-decrypter in either FILE or ISO mode
if using ISO mount image whit daemon-tools
you should then have access to the ripped files
i never heard of this problem though

Piaf, thanks for helping. I don't have the original DVD's any more so don't think I can rip them again--my only hope is to use whatever, if anything, is in the folders I have. I haven't seen this problem mentioned either--I don't know what process I saved them with, so don't know what type of files they are--they just say AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS.

thats Filemode if you got VIDEO_TS/AUDIO_TS
inside the VIDEO_TS there are the VOBS
use powerdvd or so to playback the VIDEO_TS
nways i think you screwed and have to get the original back ;)
btw i cant help you much since you dont have the origi's ;)
