hi

my little problem: i want to make a DVD with a series on it. now i wonder how much bitrate i must use so i don't have any qualityproblems.

the bitrates are 1234, 878, 915, 922, 914, 907, 907, 919, 913, 916, 909, 868 and 907. Should i take the AVI-Bitrate for each MPG-File?

Is there any way to calculate the best bitrate when you have the AVI-Bitrate?

thanks for help

It depends what the avis contain (divx 3ivx etc) as for mpeg 2 streams I`ve found under 2000 kbit./sec don`t look the best, personal preference really..

I would highly recommend not using less than 4000 Kbits VBR.
