AC3 -> convert 6-Channel to 2-Channel?

I have this DVD with a 6-Channel AC3 track.
I am encoding the movie to XVID and since 6-ch takes up a lot of space in the file .. i want to convert it to 2-channel. Is there a way to do this?

I use AutoGK.
Currently, whenever i encounter a 6-ch track, i encode it into VBR MP3 190kbps.

that´s alos an old one:
there many apps which decode an AC3 stream into a 2.0 format. Starting with besweet, DVD2AVI etc.
