I need help with ac3 movies..please!

I recently bought the SB Audigy 2 7.1 and I am having problems with movies in AC3..

1)I can't hear the voice anymore, I guess it's because ac3filters support just 5.1 soundcard
2) If I set the speakers in ac3filters like Dolby Surround I can hear the voice but I think I am not using a real 5.1/6.1/7.1

In each case, the volume is loud for the first 5 min, than it goes lower and lower.
So, is there a way to use 7.1 dolby? If not, how do I set it up?
And how can I keep the voice from going lower?

I'm not very good, but i will try to help you..

The first thing is that ac3 is 5.1 and not 7.1 so 2 speaker are not used, if I am not wrong the 2 speakers in more only repeat half frontal and half rear sound....

So you could try to set your audigy card with a 5.1 speaker system with the utility surround mixer from creative.
I can't help you for the sound that go down and up I'm not good...

Another thing you could try is use spdif setting in ac3 filter configuration this not work good for me but you could try the same if you do so you must be sure that in speaker setting creative mixer there is a check in (decodifica AC3) I'm italian and read this you must read something similar.....

Then you could try to edit mixer properties in ac3 filter configuration:
There is a matrix the columns are input and the rows are output..

another think: you say right Dolby Surround is for 2 speaker is a sort of downmix
