I am transferring some old VHS tapes to DVD. There is usually some unused space on the resulting DVD which I'd like to use up with image scans (say compressed TIF files) of the cover notes.
I'm not really interested in these images being viewable via a standalone DVD player - I'd just like to use up the unused disk space on the DVD to effectively archive the sleeve notes which could just be viewable via an image viewing program on a PC.
Is it possible to add extra TIF or other file types to an authored DVD filesystem before burning it to DVD? Or are such files likely to confuse standalone DVD players? Do I need to create a specific folder name to store extra files?
