Hi, I posted my issues partially in the RB-Opt forum but here's the gist of it (I felt like starting a new thread since it could potentially be an RB issue)

Backing up Futurama S3 D1 R1:

Extracted into an .iso with dd 3.5.1.0, mounted with deamontools 3.46
prepared with dvd-rb .62, the project contains 6 vts'es with the actual episodes and 2 vts'es with extras. The bitrate gets more or less evenly distributed between all vts'es but i used rb-opt to lower the bitrate on the extras in order to get a bit more on the actual episodes. Now, the problem i'm experiencing is that CCE stops encoding one of the segments in VTS10. First I thought it was something to do with RB-OPT because in the very beginning i was playing with bitrates on all VTSes and not only the extras. So I asked robot1 about it and he recommended checking the segment in question for too low of a bitrate and reencoding it in CBR. Well, I found the segment where CCE used to freeze and made a small .ecl with the necessary stuff in it only i changed multipass vbr to CBR like it was recommended. Same problem, CCE stops encoding and just sits there with 0 CPU activity. I tried 2.50.01.00 and 2.66.01.07 with no luck. I know it's not the system or the software because I constantly use those in the big3 method so... If anyone has any recomendations please LMK

P.S. I made the ecl manually and not just by doing a resume encode in RB because after i killed the cce process, eclcce kept calling it and went on to partially encode other segments so I didnt want to risk having a bad/incomplete encode.

Could you post the .ecl of the segment where CCE used to freeze?
It seems a CCE issue.

I made the ecl manually and not just by doing a resume encode in RB

I would recommend doing the change in the .ecl files generated by RB.

When cce stops, FIRST stop RB and AFTER stop cce. In this way RB will not continue with the following segments.

Then edit the item.ecl file for changing to CBR(it should contain the ecl comands for the segment where the encoding stoped (I´m not sure this step is necessary, but it doesn't hurt)

Then edit the REBUILDER.ECL file, changing to CBR the same segment

Then resume encoding with RB from the last correctly encoded segment. It should start from the segment where cce had stopped. In the cce window you should see it is encoding in CBR.

here's the ecl. it's straight from the rebuilder inf. once i load it i chage it from multi vbr to cbr.
