When converting avi's to (s)vcd that will span across a few CD's, is there a way to specify the frame that the movie gets split at? Im currently splitting the avi's manually with virtualdub, but figured there's a way to get dvd2svcd to do this. "Use frame selection" option doesnt work with avi's unfortunatly.

What actually splits the file, bbmpeg or avisynth? I assumed there was a .ini i could edit somewhere.

Thanks!
Dan

No such luck unfortunately.
bbMPEG splits the video and this is done purely on file size - ie to convert an avi to 2 SVCD's, a 1590MB video file is generated, then cut at 795MB to make 2 x 795MB files. The cutpoint is made at whichever frame this falls at.

Splitting with VDub is the current best option.
