Hi guys

I have successfully ripped the 6 channel AC3 track from my DVD and am attempting to convert it into 6 mono wave files using Besweet.

When I do this, I get 2 tracks with all the dialogue, music and soundeffects and 4 tracks with absolute silence. Ie, Besweet is not splitting the AC3 track into the 5.1 waves I need. It seems to be splitting the 6 channel AC3 track into 2 stereo files and 4 empty wav files.

Does anyone know if there is any other free software out there that will do this. What do I need to do in Besweet to get these 6 wavs separated properly?

I can only assume you are sure you are not ripping the 2 ch ac3 from your dvd?

and i remember a command something like

D:\Video\BeSweet\BeSweet.exe -core( -input "D:\Surround\Temp\Temp6Ch.wav" -output "D:\Surround\temp\temp_" -type wav -6chfloat ) -ota( -g peak )

Hope it helps besweet definitely works and is the program i would be messing with.

Thanks Shayne,

Yes, I am definitely ripping the AC3, 6 channel file.

I use Besweet Gui (no command prompts) and am selecting the AC3 file as the 'Input' file and selecting '6 wavs' as the output file.

No luck. Its really bugging me!

Ok cool, I will try the prompt but I don't use DOS so I'm not too confident.
