Hello, everybody.

This is the problem:

I have a movie with two subtitle streams, english and spanish. I'm sure I put all the commands correctly. In the PC everything works fine and I can choose the subtitles with the menu.

In the standalone it is as if the english subtitles doesn't exist. Whenever I choose them it is the spanish that appears. Also, if I choose them with the remote (that's to say not using the subtitles menu) when it says english subtitles they are the spanish ones. In a word: I can't choose the english subtitles.

With the PC software (Powerdvd, Windvd) both streams exist distinctly, and I can change from one to the other.

The wierdest thing is that I've made quite a lot of films in Scenarist with subtitles, using the same commands that this time, and they worked perfectly. I don't understand what's wrong now.

By the way, the commands are:

In the subtiles menu:
Post: mov gprm2 sprm2
Buttons: set subpicture 1 on
set subpicture 2 on

In the film:
Pre: set subpicture gprm2

Thanks in advance.

I guess you have a 4:3 TV hooked to your player. If this is the case check the subpicture attribute of the pgc in question in the scenario editor. Sometimes S mix up the decoding flag, setting it incorretly for panscan/letterbox.

You were right. The subpicture attribute for the english subtitles was incorrect. I don't know if that happens only with the 3.0 version. I've just changed from the 2.7

In the scenario editor it said:
Decoding Stream Number for Wide #1: 1 English Wide & Letter (That was right)
Decoding Stream Number for Letterbox #1: 0 Spanish Wide & Letter (That was wrong and that's why they didn't show up in my TV)

Thanks a lot.

2.7 messes this up as well after importing the subs. I don'T know why but it's very annoying if I forget to fix this and notice it only on the bunrt disc.
