Hi all

I have scoured this board and others for help on this issue and cannot work it out!

I am attempting to rip just the audio (the 6 channel audio stream) from a DVD I own.

I am using DVD decrypter, I have enable stream processing and also delected Demux (NOT Direct Copy). For some reason, it keeps ripping this stream to a vob file, not to AC3! Why is this? How do I get the audio from the vobs to AC3? Can DVD decrypter do it?

I should also add, I am ripping the 6 channel stream to hopefully make 6 separate wav files ie centre, left, right etc. The problem is getting it from vob to AC3.

Thanks for your help!

Make sure the AC3 audiostream is actually selected in DVD Decrypter. Not only by having selected the checkbox in front of it, but make sure the entire line itself is selected (so that it becomes blue). Only then will you be able to select demux and have DVD Decrypter actually decrypt to an AC3 file.

Would you know it? I actually tried it again last night and it worked!

Weird....

Now all I have to do is convert it to 6 5.1 waves? Any thoughts on the best software? Besweet is a little messy for my liking.
