Why not do one tape at a time. I get near perfect analogue captures to DVD with what I have below( with a fairly crap VCR). The only thing I'd say the resulting output file is a little blurry. It took 4.5 hrs the other night to encode a copy of the core( 2hrs 10 mins) from VCR.

Forgot to add that I've got Virtual VCR& Virtual Dub. Ps Any jobs going!
