Since the new VDub 1.6 supports YUV colorspace, will avisynth->fast recode still be faster than full procesing?

there is no difference (or at least shouldnt be) in speed between "fast recompress" and "full processing mode" as long as you dont use any filtering.

i meant as long as you dont use any VirtualDub filters. filtering in VDub still happens in RGB32, which is much slower than filtering in YV12.
