buffer levels ?

just wondering why this would be up and down so much
have changed from using a amd 2800 512 ram with a pioneer 107d
now into my older hp p4 2.6 512 ram and getting these weird buffer levels were in the other tower i had no problems
have tried many of things and cant figure it out...

If you're using windows 2000 or less, watch your IDE settings and set DMA transfert. You might be in PIO mode.
