How do I do a 2 pass with my setup?

Hi,
After I have a edited avi in premeire 6.5, I export with the adobe mpeg encoder. I've also used the ligos.I think there is a mainconcept as well, but I can't find it. How do I make a 2 pass vbr encode? I have a matrox rt.x100. What will give me the best vrb mpeg2 encode?

I´m not sure what exactly you want to know. But I suppose you have some avi source you want to encode with some encoder to mpeg2 format. As you are in CCE part of the forum you probably should try this encoder. It is hard to tell what is "the best" encoder because quality can´t be objectively evaluated. It depends on such variables like time (speed of the encoder) and price you want to pay for such encoder.

So if you want to try CCE, download demo version (http://www.cinemacraft.com/eng/home.html) and give it a shot. If you have questions about right settings, feel free to post them here. There are a lot of clever people wanting to help.

will it work from premire 6.5? The reason I'm asking is because I had something with a lot of motion and I am unhappy with the results. I have an edited avi that is in premeire 6.5. Will cce work as an export for premire?

ya..just frameserve (http://www.debugmode.com/frameserver/) from Premiere into CCE - it'll save time, space and quality as youre not reencoding the .avi file further
