Hello. I was wondring about someting in the settings for video.
I can choose PAL 4:3 (704*576) and PAL 4:3

whats the different? I use TMPGenc to deinterlace and then save the project file to be used with a codec, i belive its called frameserver or soemthing when u do this. well Im making 720*576 dvd to SVCD 480*576 but the dimentions change isnt done in TMPGEnc, that i use a avisynth script for.

What settign shall I use?
I have attached a gif file to show.

EDIT: the attachments dotn show up

30 shows for this topic and noone of you who read this topic had any answaer to help with this?

The result looks normal after encode, so I guess it doesnt have any effect on the output.

Don't do deinterlacing with TMPGEnc, AVISynth provides much better deinterlacers.
If TMPGEnc does no Resizing, the setting does not matter. In this case, you should use 1:1 Monitor and Center (noting else, just center!)
But, if you are using TMPGEnc as Deinterlacer, you have to choose the correct setings!

The first setting (704x576) is used for Standard-PAL-Resolutions (720x576 and 704x576) with PAR 1.092:1
The second is for PAL with different resolutions.

In your Case, use 4:3 PAL (704x576) and Center or Full Screen.

thanks!

I save the tmpgenc project file and then rezise with avisynth, then open that file in my encoder.
