Title Menu not playing

I was reading a few threads in the forums to give me an answer but I couldn't figure it out. I just authored a DVD using the new big 3 method. The only problem I am having is on the original DVD as soon as you put it in it plays the intro menu, I am guessing this is called title menu. When I play the backup in my standalone the root menu starts, I am guessing this is called root menu because whenever I press the root key this menu pops up. I really liked the main menu so I wanted the backup to function exactly like the original. I used batchifoupdate to update the vts sectors and then I ran the ifo through ifoedit. I am sure that there is a way to fix this using ifoedit. Could someone enlighten me on where to look?

What dvd/region? i'll take a look at it.. sounds like something went wrong because that shouldnt happen.

Fixing that with ifoedit can be rough with modern dvds. the use of registers is so heavy that results of fiddleing can be hard to predict.. check out here http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&postid=242410post#242410 .. has a lot of ifoedit guides

Actually this is the second movie that I have done that this has happened with. The current movie I am doign is the Butterfly Effect North America, region 1 and the other movie that this happened with was 2 fast 2 furious also North America region 1.

hmm.. i did butterfly effect (r1 ntsc) without that issue. are you saying you have done other disks without having this problem? or is this every disk?

Well, so far using the Big 3 method I have done three movies. I have done The Replacements, 2 fast 2 furious and The Butterfly Effect. I had problems with the menu on the latter two, the title menu didn't start up when the dvd when was playing. The root menu started on both of them. The Replacements didn't have a motion title menu so there was no problem with that one. Would it make a difference if I played it in a different standalone machine? What else could it possibly be? Maybe I will use another movie just to test. I will keep everything intact and see what happens with that one.

UPDATE. I just put The Butterfly Effect in my dvd player. When I hit the title key it changes between different titles. On the forth press of the key, the main menu appears. I don't know
